It has been a great start to Year 5 and the children are enjoying our Autumn topic based on The Ancient Greeks. In our English lessons, we have been using the narrative, Theseus and the Minotaur to create our own storyboard and write our own narrative from Theseus's point of view. In Art, we have been analysing Greek Statues and using different techniques to sketch our own.
We used the book Tusk Tusk to discuss the importance of our British Values. We planned and wrote a persuasive speech to remind people of the importance of equality within our society.
