Vision and Values
As a Church of England Academy, our vision is to provide an education of depth and quality within a Christian ethos, provided in a safe and secure, nurturing and aspirational environment, so that our children can be the best they can be in all aspects of their development.
Our Christian Vision is
Walking alongside to live life in all its fullness.
'Let us run the race that is before us, and never give up.' Hebrews 12:1
Why this vision?
‘Let us run the race that is before us, and never give up.’ can be found in the book of Hebrews, which is written to encourage readers to persevere in the face of adversity. We have chosen this to encourage our school community to remove obstacles which are holding us back, and know, as Jesus did, that there are hardships to overcome, but that we should not get tired and stop trying.
Walking alongside to live life in all its fullness is how we will support all in ‘running the race that is before them’. We are committed to ‘walk alongside’ our community to support them unconditionally. We will guide, support, or carry, depending on what is needed at that time. We acknowledge that not every race is one we want to be in, embracing both successful and challenging times, preparing for “life in all its fullness,” (John 10:10) which is the vision of the Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy trust.
This vision guides all that we do, from policy making, teaching and learning, right through to the way we run our lunchtimes, and the questions ‘does this fulfil our vision’ is asked before any decision is made.
